UWAYE is a club which is dependent on students in order to function; the club is run by students, for students.

You can be a part of UWAYE through a variety of means, be it simply by being a student member and attending UWAYE's events, or further involvement by joining the committee, the choice is yours! Remember though when it comes to most things, the more you put in, the more you are bound to get back!

Find out what UWAYE is up to through one of our social media streams:

Student Membership

Most of UWAYE's events are open to members and non-member alike. A one off $5 fee will provide you discounted access to UWAYE's major events such as The Recruitment Challenge and Women in Engineering High Tea and updates on UWAYE events by email.

Please make an appointment at the UWAYE Office or become a member at one of our events!

NOTE: UWAYE membership is independent of Engineers Australia's membership, for details on this membership see (https://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/membership)

Committee Applications

UWAYE wants you. A student club needs students to run it to survive. Intake for the new committee usually occurs around March/April each year, although feel free to apply at any time we may contact you sooner in some cases.

The Executives shall register your interest and contact you prior to committee intake or earlier in special circumstances.
